History of the institution

With the divine inspiration of Mahayogi Gorakhnath ji, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences was started in the year 2023. Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a constituent college of Mahayogi Gorakhnath University Gorakhpur. Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences offers B. Pharm (4 years), D. Pharm (2 years) and Ph.D. The college is approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi.
It has committed itself to become a center for excellence in pharmaceutical education and research and be a leader in the field of pharmaceutical sciences including pharmacy practice with the objective of strengthening the health care of the country. Our focus is on collaboration instead of competition resulting in National MoUs to foster teaching-learning, research through faculty/student exchange, consultancy, training programs, etc.

The campus is located in the vicinity of Gorakhpur, on the National Highway-24. The college is about 10 Kms from centre of Gorakhpur, 200 Kms from holy city Varanasi and is well connected by road, rail and air.

The wide spread campus is fully supported with natural ambience and has lush greenery all around. The infrastructure has all the requisite facility to compete with any international campus dedicated to education. The campus has state of the art architectural skills used for buildings and the college has spacious lecture theaters and laboratories equipped with all modern facilities.
