Department overview
The Department of Biotechnology was founded in 2022 with a vision to make an impact through research and technology-based training. The department offers teaching and research programs that encompasses various basic and applied aspects of modern biotechnology. It successfully offers Undergraduate (B. Sc. Hons.), Postgraduate (M.Sc.), and PhD. Programs. The scheme of programs has been designed in accordance with as per NEP 2020 and considering industrial demands and global competence. A conscious effort has been made to ensure that the curriculum of each program integrates courses in biological sciences and health sciences, along with relevant laboratory programs and a compulsory research project of variable duration.
