History of the institution

In the hallowed land of Gorakhpur, the Great Mahayogi Guru Shri Gorakshnathji made an appearance, adding to India's magnificent past of rich spiritual tradition and religious heritage. Believed to be the embodiment of Lord Shiva, he came to relieve human suffering, igniting the spark of religious and spiritual awareness, and appearing as a saviour. The penance site of Mahayogi Guru Shri Gorakshnath is regarded as the world's most sacred location.

Many renowned Yogis and saints who were born here continued to offer their devotion and services as head priests, or Mahanths, inspired by his great achievement. His Holiness Bramleen Mahanth Digvijaynath Ji Maharaj, a revered saint, helped create Gorakhpur University and gave the Maharana Pratap Degree Collage, sparking a significant cultural and educational revolution. He is greatly owed by the Eastern U.P. Like the person who came before him, he was deeply concerned about the country and its citizens. The Gorakhnath Temple has a long history of serving the interests of the country, society, and all of humanity.

Given this context, it is not surprising that the great saint Peethadishwar Mahanth Yogi Adityanath Ji Maharaj, who is a disciple of the previous Peethadhiswar Bhramleen Mahanth Avaidynath Ji Maharaj, followed the great predecessors' lead and dedicated his life to the cause of social upliftment of the oppressed.
Serving the oppressed was the Brahmleen Mahanth Avaidyanath ji Maharaj's unwavering commitment to the noble goal of social upliftment. In the districts of Maharajganj and Gorakhpur, he founded numerous colleges and institutes. Aside from commercialization and the mindset of profit, Mahant Digvijay Nath Ayurvedic Chikitsalay has been offering medical facilities since 1980. He strives to help those in need and offer the services of qualified medical professionals.

Mahant Avedyanath Paramedical College was started with the primary objective of catering the academic needs of students by providing world class education and infrastructure. Mahent Avaidhyanath Paramedical College currently offers 6 diploma courses namely, Diploma in Laboratory Technician (60 seats), Diploma in Dialysis Technician (30 seats), Diploma in Optometry (30 seats), Diploma in Anesthesia and Critical Care Technician (30 seats), Diploma in Emergency and Trauma Care Technician (30 seats), Diploma in Orthopedic and Plaster Technician (30 seats). The College provides a comprehensive platform for the overall development of students with inculcation of competent professional skills.
